Holland Hydraulics B.V. provided a customer in the meat processing industry with a hydraulic system which is used in stunning cages for an accurate, animal-friendly, stunning of cattle and cows.

The hydraulic system is used to transport the cattle and cows to the most optimal position in the stunning cage. Functions, such as infeed door, outfeed door, head and neck support, and the side panel are hydraulically driven.

This hydraulic system was engineered with 2 x 11kW drive and 2 axial piston pumps with a flow of 40 L/Min. The proportional valves are assembled in stainless steel boxes, so the valves are protected against the rough environment during the cleaning process. For this reason, all cylinders are made of stainless steel.

We have provided the customer with consultancy, engineering, production, installation, commissioning, and a full training of the complete system at the customer’s site.
