For a project concerning noise reduction during the installation of onshore and offshore wind turbine foundations, Holland Hydraulics B.V. has developed a hydraulic system with three winches.

This NR system (Noise Reduction System) is used to reduce the noise that arises during the piling of onshore and (shallow) offshore wind turbine foundations. The NRS consists of a large rubber curtain, which covers both the striking area of the hammer and the total pile length. This ensures a safe noise level of 80 dB(A).

The hydraulic system consists of various manifold assemblies and hydraulic winches. The three hydraulic winches are controlled synchronously by means of a flow divider provided by Jahns Regulatoren GmbH. Furthermore, the entire system can be operated by radiographic control.

We designed, manufactured, and installed the complete systems.
