Holland Actuators has built linear actuators for radar systems in the defense industry. The Linear actuators are used to set the radar frame on the required hight and install the radar system in the best position.

4 x FM5 linear actuators are used to lift the radar frame. The actuators were built with trapezoidal screws and a brake-motor to make sure the frame won’t lower unexpectedly. The actuators are coated with a special paint that protects the actuators in rough weather conditions.
