Holland Hydraulics B.V. has supplied various hydraulic systems for stainless steel conveyor belts. These stainless steel conveyor belts are primarily used in the chemical and food industries. The custom-made systems are applied to maintain tension in the stainless steel conveyor belts during the production process.

Conveyor belts often tend to run off-center. To prevent misalignment, the rollers in rubber conveyor belts are slightly crowned. This is a method that cannot be applied to stainless steel conveyor belts. To address this issue, we have, in collaboration with the customer, developed a mechanical/hydraulic control system. This system ensures continuous alignment of the stainless steel conveyor belt in the center of the roller. Importantly, this is achieved without the need for sensors or electronic control.

The conveyor belt must function in extreme conditions, with a temperature of 150°C and a humidity of 95%. The mechanical/hydraulic control system is highly suitable for such extreme conditions and has already proven itself in 25 locations worldwide.

Furthermore, the system is equipped with a 2.2 kW electric motor and an internal gear pump with a capacity of approximately 5 L/Min.
