Holland Hydraulics B.V. has delivered more than 5 complete hydraulic projects in the bio-energy industry. These custom made systems are used to transport and burn 20,000 to 30,000 tons of wood chips, which will provide power to thousands of households.

The complete systems consist of a hydraulic power pack for the moving floor, hydraulic power packs for the stoves, accompanying hydraulic cylinders, and the installation and commissioning on site. The moving floor ensures a continuous flow of wood chips to the stoves. The system of the stoves ensures an equal supply of wood chips in the stoves themselves, with which they can accurately adjust the yield to the needs.

To meet the system requirements, the power packs for the moving floors are built with 2x30kW of power with a pump output of 2x90L/Min. This power pack controls 4 to 8 hydraulic cylinders with a bore from 200 to 250 mm. The power packs for the stoves are equipped with 11kW electric motors with a pump output of 35L/Min. By means of proportional control valves, which are controlled by special amplifier modules, the speed of the cylinders can be limited to 2L/Min.

Holland Hydraulics B.V. has provided the customer with advice, engineering and production of these hydraulic systems. Our certified service engineers installed and commissioned the system on site.
